The other night, the CLM met at Noma downtown to have a little going away get together for Curtis. Pretty much everyone was there, including Cam! It was great to see everyone together in this type of atmosphere. It was a fun evening even though the undertone was for one of the CLM leaving.
The theme of the night was making fun of each others clothes for some reason. Everyone thought Cam's hat looked like a flowerpot
Scott couldn't get enough of Rob's scarf and coat combo...
And I was harrassed for wearing Lacoste...
Anyways, Curtis came over last night to help glue up my tubulars and to hang out for a bit. The tires, even after being stretched overnight, were still incredibly tight, and it felt a bit like we were wrestling an alligator to get them mounted on the rims properly. Once fitted though, we got them on the bike, and I'm impressed with the way they look!
I'm definitely sad to see Curtis go, but I know that I'll get to see him quite often with how frequently I make it to Asheville. It's still sad to know that a constant riding companion, and one of my best friends is moving away. But, this sadness is tempered by the fact that I know we'll be doing some long rides together again in the near future. Things have changed alot (as far as cycling goes for me) in the past year. The shop closed, I started road riding way more, and now Curtis is moving, but this makes me anxious to see what is coming down the line next.

Barry thanks again for everything. You're awesome friend and I can't wait for some crazy epic rides in Asheville. I'll talk to you soon. Let me know how you like your wheels.
Epic ride sounds good, I should be able to get out sometime later this month or early on in February to meet you for a ride. You're a great friend too, brutha!
